ABOUT US

Africa Resource Holdings is focused on structured commodity supply. Our model integrates sourcing, quality control, logistics coordination, and trade execution under one platform. By maintaining long-term relationships and secure production positions, ARH ensures continuity of supply across market cycles.

ARH supplies thermal coal, prime anthracite, metallurgical anthracite, and manganese products to industrial, energy, and metallurgical customers worldwide through structured offtake arrangements and long-term producer relationships,

From mine stockpiles to customer facilities, ARH oversees logistics planning, contract management, and performance monitoring to ensure products meet agreed specifications and delivery schedules.

COMMODITIES

ARH’s supply base includes thermal coal from Kangra operations in Mpumalanga, anthracite from Springlake and Tendele operations in KwaZulu-Natal, and prime anthracite from Zululand Anthracite Colliery. These operations provide access to a wide range of size fractions and quality profiles suitable for domestic and export markets.

Through these sourcing arrangements, ARH is able to supply RB2 and RB3 thermal coal, anthracite duff, peas, small nuts, large nuts, middlings, and high-rank prime anthracite products characterised by low ash, low volatile matter, and high fixed carbon.

Coal

ARH supplies thermal coal primarily sourced from Kangra. Products are suitable for power generation, industrial boilers, cement manufacturing, and other industrial applications. Typical export grades include RB2 and RB3 specifications, with calorific values and fixed carbon levels aligned to customer requirements.

Anthracite

ARH supplies a comprehensive range of anthracite products for metallurgical and industrial applications. Anthracite sourced from Springlake and Tendele includes duff, peas, small nuts, large nuts, and middlings.

Prime anthracite sourced from Zululand Anthracite Colliery represents the highest-ranking anthracite produced in South Africa. Its low ash and low volatile characteristics make it particularly suited for reductant use in ferroalloy, calcium carbide, and other metallurgical processes.

Manganese

Manganese is used mostly in steel manufacturing and other industrial applications. It is an important raw material in the Iron and steel industry as it is used for hardening steel and prevents it from rusting. It is used in dry cell batteries. It is used in forming many alloys. It is used in chemical, glass and electrical industries.
